2 and Oh Yeah!
Wow. The Detroit Lions are now 2 and 0 and are actually living up to some of the pre-season hype. The Detroit Lions offense, with their wide open passing attack, are looking more and more like the Rams of old. Sunday’s win over Minnesota was a barn burner, with both teams giving up turnovers like it was Sunday at Grandma’s house. Neither team wanted the win, but eventually, the Lions took control with their passing attack and won the game. The Lions almost racked up 400 yards passing against a good Viking defense, proving that their offense is for real. That’s right folks, the Lions just might be for real.
So the Lions are now 2-0 and hoping for an upset win in Philadelphia in week three. I’m actually hopeful in this game. If Kitna’s concussion is cleared up, and Tatum Bell can get back to running like he did in week one, the Lions might have a shot. Then, my fellow Lions fans, the Lions would return home to Ford Field riding a three game win streak. Wow. Could the Lions actually be turning the corner? We’ll just have to wait and see.
