Shaun Rogers Gets 4 Game Suspension
ESPN is reporting that Pro-Bowl defensive tackle Shaun Rogers has been suspended for four games by the league. Reportedly, the suspension is for violation of the steroid and related substances policy. Although this has not been confirmed, it looks like this was a case of Rogers using a substance that was not a steroid, but was on the banned substances list.
The suspension is immediate. Rogers will miss Sunday’s game against the Jets, and will be able to return to the team for the Thanksgiving day game. Obviously, this is a huge blow to a defensive unit that has been struggling all season long.
