Bryson Done For The Year, Lions Sign Arlen Harris
Shaun Bryson’s year is over. The Lions put the versatile runningback on the Injured Reserve list yesterday. Bryson has performed well for the Lions this year, but he suffered a knee injury against Buffalo.
The team re-signed veteran back Arlen Harris to fill in for Bryson in two-back situations. Harris is more adept at picking up blitzes than rookie Bryan Calhoun, so he should see more plays than the rookie at this point. Harris is very familiar with the Mike Martz offense, he looked great in pre-season and he’s a bit underrated as a rusher. Nice move by the organization to grab Harris at this point.
