Detroit Lions Fan Blog

Why a blog about the Detroit Lions? Maybe it’s devotion, maybe it’s frustration, but this is a blog I felt that I just had to start. I was born in Michigan and have been a Lions fan my entire life, despite moving to several other cities over the years. I’ve had chances to switch allegiances several times, but I’ve always stuck with the lovable losers, the unlucky wanna-bes, the perennial team of the future, the Detroit Lions.

Maybe this will be their year. Maybe next. Maybe it won’t be for awhile. But someday it has to happen. The Detroit Lions will win their first championship since 1957. But it won’t happen unless the organization, the players and the coaching staff commits to winning as other successful franchises have. Can it happen in our life time?
